Forecast prediction. . .

As of February 23, I am submitting my children's picture book series "It's Raining Cats & Dogs" to direct publishers.  In all honesty, I am sick with nerves.  So my forecast prediction for this rainy series. . .I have no idea, but please say yes with bright sunshine : )

My time will unfortunately be spent away from Puppy Love as I send multiple submissions.  Therefore, I encourage readers to browse previous posts in the archives section at the bottom of the screen.

As always, pawfive!

Happy Valentine's Day

Okay.  I could easily tell you that the top six dog breeds in 2010 were the Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, Yorkshire Terrier, Beagle, Golden Retriever, and (personal favorite) Bulldog.  (My source is the American Kennel Club.)

However, I could not resist the snuggly images of adorably heart breaking puppies in the background of yes, Donny Osmond's "Puppy Love."

So.  Cozy up with your little one (or fully grown up one - I do not discriminate. . .) and enjoy a Puppy Love classic.

Saint Bernard : Boom or Bust

If one were to ask what the most adorable puppy breed is, the likely answer would be the Labrador Retriever - after all, the Retriever is the most popular breed in the United States.

I volunteered in the Kauai, Hawaii Humane Society some years ago and came across a ball of fur with eyes.  This little bundle of love was a puppy Saint Bernard.  I never could figure out who stole my heart more - the litter of Golden Retrievers or this little big guy.

The video below is aired by a family who owns 42 Saint Bernards.  This family also has a very young child.

I have a question.  Does this family breed Saint Bernards or are they animal hoarders?

Feel free to leave your opinion in the comments icon at the bottom of this post.

Melting puppy love

The video posted below truly is the ultimate in puppy love.  My heart melts and cheers for these infants learning to stand on all four feet.

I have taken to calling myself "Lauren the Bulldog" because I have so many goals I want to achieve in life.  I am determined and will keep keep going even if I am exhausted.

These little ones are fighters - they will not give up until their little bodies realize why they have hind legs.

I am a fighter too.

Melt away while watching the video below.  And for all those with life goals, be a bulldog!
